Children can play with upper or lower case letters and if they need a bit more help the game also allows them to fill in the missing letters in either direction. Letter-name knowledge before formal reading instruction is one of the strongest predictors of children's later reading ability. Children who can recognise the letters of the alphabet have an easier time learning how to read and thus do better in school. Alphabetic knowledge requires letter shape, name and sound recognition ABCs for Little Children gives the child the opportunity to do this all in an entertaining and interactive way.
